[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Taken in East Sooke Park on a hike during a photo course I was taking. I was trying to listen to our instructor but when I saw the person walk down the trail, I couldn't resist taking a few shots - which added something interesting to the image.

All coments welcome.

Thanks for having a look,
Ryan

Very nice shot, really special spot. It could maybe use a litlle more sharpness. Have you tried unsharp mask? Colours and POV are marvellous. Really nice atmosphere, good job!!!
TFS, Geert ;)

Hi Ryan, great mood in this photograph. It could be a bit sharper though. I use photoshop elements 3.0 and I downsize in 4 steps, usually I choose the 'bicubic sharper' option. However if you have the full photoshop, this is a method which is used a lot here on TL

“Luko’s Sharpening Method”

Filter/Sharpen/Unsharpmask:18/40/0
Filter/Sharpen/Unsharpmask:150/0.3/0
Edit/Fade Unsharpmask:Darken 100%
Filter/Sharpen/Unsharpmask:150/0.3/0
Edit/Fade Unsharpmask: Lighten 50%

Do it after you have downsized to the 800 pixels and only as a last step

Hope this helps!

Marleen
