Sunrise at the Docks
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Looking out onto the docks at Rusty Meyer's Flying Service, on Rainy Lake in Fort Frances, Ontario.
We were getting ready to load up and fly out, when the combination of the early morning sky, the stillness of the water, and the reflection of the aircraft caught my eye. It's great to have one of these little point-and-shoot digital cameras, because it is always in my pocket, ready to snap away at a moment's notice.
We flew out on that Beaver on the left, which according to the pilot, is the oldest one still in operation anywhere in the world. |

Nice idyllic moment the calm of the sunrise. The Beaver and the 208 inline together fit the mood real well. The reflections add a nice touch.
very good calm composition brian :)
clarity and sharpness looks great
Great shot. I really like the thickness of the clouds and how dense the air looks. Good composition as well.
dont know how i would feel about flying in anything that is the "oldest still in operation anywhere"...but a great capture none the less...i like the "widescreen" dimensions of the shot especially...peace***
