Red Rock Canyon in beautiful Waterton Lakes National Park. This is a 'frog perspective' view: I almost laid the camera right on the water level. What you see here is the lower part of the canyon, near where it joins Bauerman Creek.

Color/contrast and curves adjust, downsized.

Lovely colors on this one,Otto! It looks like a little bit less hostile and less desert than the previous one.Still no birds but maybe some fish! I love the reflections in the water.TFS.

I particularly like the quality of the water here, Otto...lifts the scene to me. The green 'v' against the lovely blue sky is also a joy. Is the colour of those rocks as you remember them? Very attractive shade and the white lines through them break them up nicely.

Great overall view.

hi there, great shot! awesome low point of view, perfect colors and composition, this looks brilliant!
thanks scott

Wow, Otto, another gorgeous shot! You are so fortunate to have such blue skies, we don't get them until fall and/or spring and I'm quite jealous. grrr.....TFS. It's certainly another wonderful photo op.

hello Otto... this is perfect!!! incredible perspective and pov on the water.. i like it so much.. rose colors is wonderfull..
well done
ciao Marco

Hello Otto,
The thumbnail looks like some faulty colour setting..!
But then I see it is the real thing, amazing...
The phenomenon is well depicted, well composed presentation!
Greetings,

:-) OK-

This one's nice Otto, with one little grumble: the water does not look level! It seems to be defying physics and its surface is sloped!

That detail aside, the colours are exceptional, the sharpness lovely, and the mix of reds and greens in 'layers' until the blue at the top of the frame are just breathtaking.

Nicely done

Hi otto,
You know, that's a bit unfair, you get to see such interesting places and I'm stuck in warsaw most of time... Makes me jelaous... I'm joking, of course ;) Another great photo. Soon I'll be out of words (if I don't want to repeat myself) to give you a critique ;) Anyways, great composition, superb colours, splendid details and an interesting POV... were you in the water by any chance?
Congrats & TFS
Barbara

The angle probably the nearest the water level you can find... With ripples it give strong color and texture! It's impressive color and presented with a strong POV!
Great Shot!
