[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is an old electrical power center exclusively for serving the needs of electricity for Canal de Soulanges during the period of 1900 to 1958. The canal is now closed but we can find a lot of old structures like this one along the canal between Les Coteaux and Pointe-Des-Cascades in the South-West of Province of Québec. Taken during a rain shower. JYB

Bonjour Jean,
Je vole une petite minute à mon horaire chargé de cette semaine de festival pour te féliciter de cette excellente photo. L'atmosphère est tellement bien rendue! Et quelle harmonie entre le ciel et les eaux du canal sur lesquelles se réflètent cette magnifique architecture. Très belle composition. Bravo et merci de nous faire découvrir ce coin du Québec! I like this type of old buildings. There's a whole story behind it. People who designed and created it; worked there .... and the last one who turned out the light..... And the people who used the power.
Somehow the mood in this photo fits for this building.
