Fabulous! Your longer exposure was well-chosen here (mine were all too short)
Superb capture, colours and composition

Beautiful shot, really. I just regret the top of the "flower" was cut, but who can predict that? :-)

Wow - nicely timed! Love the different colors in the streamers! Good exposure at 6 seconds! I have to admit, I let my camera's 'brain' figure that one out (and it did - most of mine were between 4 and 6 seconds).
Cheers
Otto

everybody who tried to do this knows how difficult it is to capture a picture like this. when i did this i tried al lot of different exposure times and none where as pretty as this one. this is a great shot, to bad the top isnt shown.

Hello Yves:)
Nice capture of this fire flower, very well done - is great to see how fireworks look like in delay photo exposure time.
Top could be there but anyway it is nice composition.
Congratulation - Tom

Hi Yves,

It's a superb shot. Perfect timing and excellent way of setting up your camera. Very well composed.

Bonjour Yves!
It's a magnifficent giant fireflover. Your 6 sec. shutter has shown the drift from the wind. Very beautiful, indeed!
Regards,
Anton

Hello Yves,

Bonsoir Yves,
Superbe cliché de ce feu d'artifice prise au bon moment, belles couleurs et netteté, difficile à prendre une photo comme ça! belle composition et point de vu..Salutations
Michel

Yves,
Although I am not a pro I have shot many fireworks photos. did you use a cable release (remote shutter button) I think this is a nice image but I have found that I lose the color of the firework if I hold the shutter open when the burst is nearer the end than the beginning. The white usually burns out the colors. ALL fireworks I have seen turn white right before they disappear. A 2 second exposure seemed like the right exposure here but your success rate might have improved on your others if you would anticipate the burst, click the shutter as it explodes and shut the shutter just BEFORE it turns to white. It took probably 500 photo's before I learned that trick. Here, I like how you have included the buildings in the background. Good work.
