[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Well here we are sitting by a lake and Otti my dear son decides he wants to go in the lake. That's fine but he doesn't have a swimsuit so how abouts strip down to your boxers and go in. Nope he decided to dive right in fully dressed. Oh well kids will be kids.
I snapped a few shots and liked this one for the bubble he is making (with a stick) in the water.
He stripped afterwards and wrapped a towel around himself until we got into town and buy some pants for him.
Pretty much straight from the camera. Just a fun shot full of memories.
Enjoy!!!

Hah! Kids....sometimes I wish we adults were as spontaneous and care-free. Very nice capture Christan, he looks like he's having a blast, and the scenery is beautiful. I like the overall green-blue tones captured in the water and mountains, and with Otti's brown hair and his clothes he really pops out. I do think though that Otti could be decentered a little more, and those bubbles he's creating in the water by splashing around are interesting. So I am thinking it would be good to crop a little more off the left edge and leave a tiny bit more negative space at the right to create a balance between Otti and the bubbles, that way too we see the emphasis on his playing in the water. I know that it is often quite difficult to meter properly using strong afternoon lighting, but I do find the bubbles a bit overexposed and parts of Otti's arms too. Perhaps reducing the contrast on Otti slightly would help. Otherwise a beautiful shot, and I like how the mountain base takes up the upper third of the shot. Good use of a fast shutter speed too to "freeze" the motion of the bubbles. TFS!

Hello Christan,

An expression of enthusiasm is beautifully captured in this image. Though, light is not friendly for the photography, smartly manged luminar controls have made it charming. Nicely placed subject. Well done.

Thanks for sharing this image.

A photo is an island in time, you see it but it will be gone forever soon. Nice spontane catch here Cristan..
Otti has fun, you have fun 'shooting' his fun but where is big Otto? Not playning / pretending to be the fish is he :-)
Greetings
Vandana
