I guess Tricia and I are both giving you your share of ship photos...:o) This photo was taken from the bridge of my husbands ship and through my special filter ( the bridge windows) We were entering Hamilton Harbor where we would be unloading some 30,000 tons of coal at a steel plant there. The photo says It was 11:38AM when I took the photo , So prior to that we had been up since 10:30 the night before ...a long night!

I did nothing to the photo just resized it. The effect from the windows to the photos I took I think is pretty neat actually...:o)

A nice view of Hamilton. I wonder what it feel to navigate the seven seas in a cargo boat. Must be a beautiful experience! The softness of this picture is nice. Sharpness is not always good for an image. Lovely perspective and colours. Your point of view is definitely excellent. Nice work Donna :-)

Bonjour Donna,

when I look at your photography, with your composition of your POV, the first impression which is to me come east "will pass, will not pass", impressive. Very beautiful and very long perceptive.

Heartily, Corinne

Hello Donna,
I guess you have to be pretty accurate in a job like this, I mean commanding a ship this size!
Besides you have to think ahead, as all decisions have to be about the situation in 5 minutes...
Interesting point of view!
Greetings,
Pablo -

Hello Donna
From that privileged point of view you captured an appealing perspective that leads to the elaborate architecture of the lift bridge.
Thanks for showing nature from unusual angles in many of your postings.
Best regards.
Robert
