Yep , its another ship photo from Donna..:o) I took about 400 photos in 4 days and pulled a few that I feel are okay enough to show my friends here on Treklens.
This photo is of a ship in my husbands company. My husband "parked" his ship at a wall in order to let this ship the Algomarine lock up in the the welland canal and other ship came up behind it. Then it was our turn to go down . ( if you'ld like to see more photos of the trip check my website)
The Algomarine is 730' long and carries bulk cargo.
at this point in time she is approaching the port colborne piers and will be entering Lake Erie. |

Hi Donna
I love the little tiny people I can see on the back of the ship.. the more I look the more I can see.... Did you also use your special filter for this photo????
Tricia....
This is a beautiful photo a nice POV, composition with excellent colors and exposure. Well done! Thanks,
Vandana
hi, donna
living/moving among the giants must be quite interesting! 400 takes in 4 days... not too much. but fine images. wanna see more, if possible. thanks, great feeling.
wish you all the best,
cal
great shot! too bad they have to put the ugly grey boomhousing on such a nice ship, i'm back, i needed a while to work on other things, and i wasnt able to get for pictures much, especially after our trip i needed a good week to really regain anything of a normal sleep pattern as you well know, the Ryerson is a nice boat, we're off around lake superior and to the soo pretty soon, then i'm off soon after that to toledo so i can get my papers to sail next summer, busy rest of the summer, hope yours is going well! ~Sam
Donna,
A sharp fine close-up in perfect colours!
I like the composition Great details , good 'Seamans-work! *_*
