Wow, Ik zag de titel en daarna je note...
Er even tussenuit, even stoppen..
Ik hoop dat de nadruk ligt op "even", want dat betekent dat je je al gauw weer helemaal top voelt en alles weer op de rit hebt.

Ik hoop dat de break jou ook dat geeft wat je nodig hebt!

Mon ami John,

I will miss you enormously because you were an precious mentor by me since I'm on TL, but I understands the need you to put back, and you ressourcer.
I hope only that you will come from time to other to through a photograph saying to us that all goes well for you.
To enjoy from your life, one has that one, fact what likes you and is happy at Yolanda.. You are "kept your place with the heat".

Nice farewell picture, romantic composition and details well framed.
I can understand your decision and respect it. There are times we need to step back and get out of the race for a little while to recharge our batteries. Knowing how you feel about our little group, I predict you be back in due time invigorated and full of 'spit and vinegar'. My own activities had slowed somewhat also, and the only semi-regular contributions I make are to TL now.

This image is very nice! Those lovely butterflies represent lightness and sensibility. As your note.

I am very happy to see you some time to time. TL is a great place. There are always pros and cons but I think that there are plenty of pros here for staying, no matter what some people may say.

Take care and again, this image is very well done, lovely colours, good comp and very sharp. I am not quite good at doing close-up of those butterflies. I am not fast enough so they fly away :)

I understand your decision to leave TL, if only for a while. I have been there myself and will probably approach that road again. Taking a break DOES help. TL takes up so much time. If you do participate, you seem to give 100% and that's not always possible. I am sorry for the "late night strange idiot" who gave cause for you to remove a photo. I hope to see you back soon and in different spirits.

Hi John,
A beautiful post; deep rich colors, and not one, but two butterflies in opposite poses. Creative and complementary framing as well.
I certainly understand the need for a break--I'm just back from a month's disappearance from TL. I know you feel a great responsibility to your many "constituents". And while I'm sorry to say I missed the shot of your granddaughter, I also deleted my favorite shot of our family (my largest point-gatherer!) at Christmas because someone kept emailing and asking the location of my shots. IMHO this person's interest in children was questionable, if his TL critiques were the only basis to judge upon. Since he was located in my area, I deleted most photos with my kids and ignored his questions. Safety first, then kindness must rule in this forum.
Addressing your "dust on the sensor" comments: a professional photographer friend (skip108 here on TL) told me to VERY CAREFULLY take a NEW turkey baster and holding the camera upside down so any dust will fall down, GENTLY squeeze the bulb of the baster to dislodge the dust. I haven't had the guts to try yet.
