This picture was taken at sundown. I like the tone of the low angled sunshine and the water reflection.
I used a circular polariser adjusting it to attenuate the reflection on the shacks and have the blue sky take a darker tone. I also use the combination of the Cokin grad filter adjusted at an angle with the boats and wharf to balance out the exposure.
PP (ACDSee Pro):
- Adjusted levels
- Shadow and highlight
- Sharpened 15%
- Cropped a bit on the right
- Removed digital dust spots
- Converted to JPEG
- Resized for posting |

Patrick this place is peaceful. The natural setting is breathtaking. Your image is very good and the quality is high due to its excellent technical elements. The colours look properly saturated. The sharpness show fine details and the diagonal lines of the shoreline and pier give the eyes a more interesting composition to follow. Nice work and thanks for sharing.
