This is a pretty Gaillardia, the colours are warm and inviting. Excellent POV and DOF. Detail and lighting are great. It's great to have wildflowers grow right in your school yard.

Hello Karin. This is the type of image that would make a nice poster. Just an inspirational note on the left and you will have a great poster. Nice colours and sharpness. The flower is well placed within the frames and light management is very effective. Thanks for sharing :-)

Hi Karin & Michel, this is lovely, the exposure is perfect, sharpness is also nothing short of perfect and the overall composition is great, as it's an experiment with DOF i've got to say this is spot on, just enought to make out the grasses and enviroment this flower lives in but not enough to distract. Excellent work.

Great experiment with the short DoF. The composition with the flower to one side works well. The light off the flower is very well controlled. All this combined to create a superb image.
