Another old scanned slide here.
Kind of a typical 28mm lens view and the use of a polarizer (really needs a shift lens to stop the tilt of lines) however it was a few years back on a perfect cloudless, cold winter's morning.
This one reminds me of the visual power of color photography, its gear needed and the results of velvia 50 slide film. A true architecture photo pro would of used the shift lens but still an amazing historic building, a blue sky and the glorious first rays of light with a twinkle in the window, magic! And sorry but if you want the buildings rich history google it!!!
Thanks everyone,
Scott

Scott..hi
Great composition, looks like a great place to visit and photograph tfs

Hi Scott! A tiny bit of OE but I like how you framed your shot. The low POV gives a nice perspective to this beautiful architecture. Love the colors and saturation. The branches used as natural border on top is effective.
TFS,
Freddie :)

Hi Scott.

Excellent composition.
Well done.

Salutes.

Definitely a beautiful mansion. I think the actual name is Ceperly Mansion and is a well know place because it is believed to be haunted. The scanning process took some quality off the image but is still a great looking picture with good colours and fine details. I like how the bare branches create a sort of natural frame and add more to the mood of the haunted place. Thanks Scott.

Roberto

Excellent detail for a scanned photo Scott, impressive residence.. nice low pov works well too..

Hi Scott: Golden hues again, you are becoming a master at these types of pics where you look back from a sunset to see what colours the low sun produces. I like the framing of the house here in a good position and the detail of the sun reflecting from the window into your camera.....Thanks for showing.........Roman:0)

Hy Scott
Another nice job scanning - and editing the posting. I think we older folks have a gozillion slides just sitting in trays. Got to get mine into the computer for the kids.

TFS and your nice comments on my yellow glider.

Hi Scott,

I see that you have presented a lot of scanned transparencies. I have many (hundreds) old transparencies that I would like to "resurrect" digitally... what method/equipment do you use for scanning these? The quality is excellent.

I used to love transparency film for its great colour saturation and grainless quality. you have some really nice shots on your pages.

You no longer need a shift lens... just use perspective correction tools in pp. I have done a real quickie ws just to demonstrate!

Best regards,

Nigel

Very nice colourful and sharp picture. The saturation of the colours is perfect.
