Ici tout flotte... vient et toi aussi tu flottera bientôt toi aussi... Le méchant clown invitait les enfants à venir dans "Ça" de Stephen King. Moi j'ai plutôt invité la police à faire des démarches pour que l'on rebouche ce dangereux trou pour un enfant trop curieux, comme je l'étais moi-même... Fort la glace comme vous voyez...

Here everything float... Come and you will float you too... This is the way the evil clown invite children to come.. in the "It" from Stephen King. For myself, i prefer invite the police to make that somebody repair this dangerous hole for a too curious kid, like a was brefore... Ice is powerfull as you can see!

Very cold scene with dangerous dark place in the middle. I don't like that clown from S. King book but from here is possible to come something evil. Buaahhaaa!!!
Goold cyan in use of cold, nice shineing ice.

Très belle image significative des rues de Montréal et de notre système d'égouts. J'aime bien le bleu de la galce et ses couches superposées. Bravo

La couleur dominante donne une allure irréelle à l'ensemble. On s'imagine dans un entrepôt abandonné après l'hiver nucléaire. Belle trouvaille!

Une belle trouvaille were,j'aime beaucoup. Ici on a une lumière intéressante qui donne une couleur dominante bleutée, elle donne un aspect dramatique qui se marie bien avec le sujet soulevé.

Nic edescription! :) It does kind of look evil and dangerous! The lighting is a little harsh but it is a cool photo. Thanks. JP

Bonjour WW, rien de plus fort que la glace, elle flotte mais fait couler les navires, s'infiltre partout, se dilatte et boummm un trou. Belle, belle cette glace turquoise.

J'aime beaucoup... les couleurs sont surréels. Les détails de la glace sont tellement bons que ça donne des frissons dans le dos!

Not only dangerous for kids I think, WW. The power of water is astounding indeed, and you show that to us excellently. I love the blue hues here that make it a rather cold looking picture, and the rusty manhole cover puts in a nice contrast to that. TFS.

Hi Were..are you a King fan? I have every book he has written and actually read them...I loved 'The Green Mile'. He gets his inspirations from his dreams and childhood fears...Hmmmmm
oh, the photo...I can just see a balloon beginning to float into view! A sinister photo as you intended and dangerous indeed. Very original image in our own WereWolf style.....:O)

Dangerous indeed, but what a superb object for photography and you've made an interesting shot with a nice light, really nice done !

A very n(ice) manhole. An unusual subject to photograph, yet I like it a lot. Shows what real life is all about in Canadian winters. It looks a bit dangerous though. Did you make a report to the police before someone falls in. I hope so.

Journalistic photo here mate. Is this why we said a photo is worth a thousand words. Imagine this photo on a civil court letegation?.... a judge will throw the book on this one. Nice shot

Belle photo Were. La couleur et l'effet de la glace sont très belle. Effectivement que l'on bouche se trou au plus vite avant qu'un automobile ou même un piéton le frappe.

This photo definitely makes me think of "It". That Pennywise is one scary clown -- I never liked clowns much, and after reading that book, I REALLY disliked them! ;)

This is a cool shot, making me look for a moment before I realized the water flowing into that dark abyss of a manhole is actually frozen.
