[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
at dawn, the overcast sky gave me the diffused light for this shot that resembles a silhouette.
Westwood lake was formed by a dam many years ago. The high water killed many trees, and those stumps are still standing at the lake's southern end.
I used a tripod, polarizing filter, then tried many exposure, aperture, and colour settings before getting this one late in the session.
The black jagged outlines of both the real object and its reflection contrast with the lightly toned softness of the clouds.

Hi John,
Very brooding sort of image here. I like that sort of thing (just take a look at some of my images!). I wonder, though, how it might look if you add some texture in filters? Cheers, Paul.
