[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Follow up to my previous post: This picture of my son was taken while I recovered my breath climbing up the Bears Hump in Waterton Lakes National Park.
At that point, he was quite eager to carry on, but I was not yet ready. Barely could keep the camera from shaking.
I was shooting against the sun coming in at an angle behind him, so the sky was a little washed out. I used gradient to add a little color, then levels and curves, downsized.

Hi Otto
Yes we have to take breaks during climbing (dirty smile) we get a day older,
Well otto it is not showing in your work here:Excellent job and little Otti looks as if he did win a race.

Good POV to emphasize the rocks and the steep climb. Also good work with the gradient and the sky.

Your son is a fine looking young man.

TFS!

Excellent capture. Excellent sharpness and details.
Good work on the sky.
I guess you'll have to do the climb more often to get in better shape :-).
Or like you said to John, stay on cow land and forget about goat land :-).

It's cool to see a decorum like that! You mention it was hard to follow him in higher altitude. But it's just a personnal impression... I don't know if he have good shoes for walking in mountain? No laces... I was often alone in the forest at this age... I like that POV as a souvenir practically :)

A REALLY nice shot of Otti here! I like the graduated filter! Nice exposure and sharpness! This reminds me of the climb I do in Arkansas every year! You must be in good shape1
Linda
I'll be back.........B-)

Great shot of Otti. Really nice comp. Got a few suggestions for darkening the sky in a workshop I'll post.

Many thanks for your comment on ‘Tasmanian Woodlands’. It wont be long before all the green is brown although we did have some overnight rain last night.
