Oh, Donna,
I'm so sorry to hear of your mother's passing. I started to read your note about the alternate title; checked the picture again and noticed the two intertwined blossoms; smiled and thought the title would have been perfect, but as I finish your note and feel what you must be going through, I see those two blossoms holding on to each other.
A perfect shot at any rate.

How brilliant this is. I love the colours Donna, and the frame too. What beautiful flowers. They are called Rudbeckias, a type of coneflower.

Now I've read your note - Oh Donna, I am so sorry. To lose a parent is so sad, and you must be feeling bereft now your mother's not here. She will love these flowers - it's lovely tribute for her.

I lost my sister 4 weeks ago, and here is a poem a TL friend sent me, I hope you like it as much as I do:
