Good Day !

We are back from our autumn escapade. I will start another travelogue in the coming weeks. We were extremely fortunate to enjoy a wonderful weather during our four day trip. We were even more fortunate to meet again Annie alias Beger and her husband Ghislain. We left together early Sunday morning and headed to Percé ( a two hour drive ) for an excursion on Bonaventure Island. For those who remember my last travelogue, last year , the Island was closed to visitors as we visited the park later in October.

Technically, Since the rock was posted a few times, I opted for a different POV and composition. Here I simply cropped a bit of the bottom and right to create a 3D effect. The morning sky was fabulous. Unfortunately increasing cloudiness during the afternoon made the photo hunt a bit less colorful.

I will post photos of our trip in random order. I am still on vacation , but hinestly have to catch up a lot of things while Martine is already back at work.

PS. Unforgettable and priceless memories gathered ( and I am not taking of the smell at the bird sanctuary here LOL !) Thanks to the patience of Ghislain and Martine who chatted when me and Annie were shooting (^_^). Next time, we will see each other will be here at Trois-Rivieres. We are looking forward returning their outstanding hospitality.

N.B. Bird smell? Ever smelled a cargo aircraft after transporting chimpansees? No? Than you don't know what really stinks! :-)

A stunning shot, however, do you notice that your graduated polarizer was on it's side? See the difference between the left and right sky?? Is that right, or am I insane! Either way, a STUNNING shot, a wonderful place! I love how you captured the boat with it all! Have you ever smelled a house just after it has burned...NEVER will you forget it!

Viewing these places from the water is exciting and offers superb viewpoints, tfs.

Beautiful colours you captured, Robert. Ok, so the rock has been shown already... I'm glad you show it again, and I like the creative cut. Light was well controlled here, not easy when shooting white as well as other colours...
