Hi Donna,
Wonderful sentinel heron. Beautiful colors. I might consider a severe crop to get rid of that tree.
take care,
John

Hi Donna,
You live in a very nice place . . This kind of place that I would like to have . .
Well captured the blue heron, which I haven't seen it except at bird park . .
Wish you always be happy and healthy . .
Tfs,
Tjutjut

I find the tree useful here. It acts as a natural frame for the bird.
Excellent

Hi Donna
from the title I was thinking a little boy was fishing.. But this is much better... Nice POV... The tree is ok for me..
Is the water level down? It is so beyond dry here...
Tricia
PS... Miner is heading your way by the end of the week I think...

Hi Donna, I hope you're feeling better now - just don't overdo it...
To crop out the tree branch would be too hard for me. Maybe taking a portrait style pic might have helped. But you show the heron all alone on the beach, and it makes me feel a little sad for you. But I am pleased you do have some friendly neighbours who will walk and talk with you.
Best regards
Janice

Hi Donna, the overhanging branches worry me not one bit either. Excellent colours and lovely detail. I do love watching the wading birds and admiring their patience. TFS,
David

Hello Donna !
Great to see you active again (^_^). I have been slightly sick since we came back from our recent trip too. Fortunately , a few good night of sleep, some bowls of hot chicken soup , and I was OK !
Like Annie , I find the tree not distractive, but helpful, as you were like a paparazzi catching a hottie on the beach ( LOL !)
Just sad you could not get closer to this hottie (*_^). I am looking forward discovering your next posts.
Cheers!
Robert

Hi Donna,
So you have a guardian watching over your lake. Very nice capture. I like the colors and the blurred tree in the foreground. Well done. TFS
Greetings
Pierre
Browsing through your gallery I learned that your mother passed away, I amm very sorry for your loss. I also learned that you have been sick. I hope it is all over.
