Frost

This morning there was a light frost. The plants looked like they were coated in icing sugar. It made for some interesting detail and colours on the leaves in my garden. I really should have used a tripod as I think the image would have been sharper.

Lovely details and an attractive diagonal composition, the fine light really makes the frozen leaves stand out!

Indeed Janice, frost can be quite beautiful. Such as here... the frostlines really make the leaves pop out of the shot, and the rather shallow DoF adds to that effect. Nicely soft colours too.
