Brilliant one of the best images I've seen on TL. Keep pushing that envelop.

It's surprising! But touching... We can see the complete formation of an unborn... The nature is beautifull, but cruel sometime! The photo is very sharp. The position say "Dead" without any need of explaination!

Bravo!!

pushing the envelope is great, its what behind the mind that is the real issue, if everything is cool for good reason but if there is some real evil there somewhere, then thats a problem for me its what the motive of the photo is, i don't judge, unless its something bad then i have issue,

this photos is very provocative and thought compelling, why you have a baby chick is another question but it could be your job

Hi JF,
This seems to be a provocative image. But, it would be strong if you had left some notes. To not know what direction you are leading the viewer can be frustrating. But, I noticed you also had another image called "Le Butcher," so, I am thinking this is just about daily life and nature, from your category. In that sense, those two images are a fine reminder of the fragility of life and what must be done to sustain it. Well done?

Bonjour JF,
Richard

I think this pushes an envolope but you should explain what your reason for photographing this dead chick.is there a reasonable answer to why you have a cracked open unborn egg or are you just trying to shock people with something gross?

Could someone tell me what the expression "pusing the envelope means". I like the photo. It is clear the lighting is fine, the detail is excellent. Technically I think the only thing one could say is that it is slightly soft.
the content is very arresting. I dont believe the image here is intended to be shocking. I think that suggestion is ridiculous because there is an attempt here to face an important, yes sad somehow (baby chick) truth.
I have put on it in a theme of images of death.

Good job. It's very hypocritical eating those tons of chickens in sausages, Mc's etc. These are very poor little fellows. This picture is representation of them. Goodby little bugger!

Oui c'est triste
Le pauvre petit ♥ mais c'est ainsi.
Ta galerie est bizarre... Mais interessante
une autre façon de voir les choses.
Vraiment étrange quand même
