Good Evening , Moring , afternoon!

The point of this photo is this. My Husband is a Danish born Canadian PLUS hes a Sailor, a Ship Captain infact, a Captain of a Great Lakes 730' Bulk Carrier. Now granted he loves his job and hes darn good at it to. This is a tough time of year though to be in this type of business. The weather this time of year is getting bad. The lakes are warm and the air is turning cold which makes for nasty things happening, Winds get strong and waves get high. Some people may not be aware but Lake Superior can get waves as high as 30'. Ships have sunk and crews have been lost. So needless to say its a stressful time of year for my husband as he has a list, keep his crew safe, keep his ship safe, get to the next port then on to the next. My Husband is due on holidays in 8 days and I am so excited as he's been out for two months now which for me is along time! So I figure he's going to need what is in this picture and its ready as soon as he walks in the door!

The Drink, a Cesar which me being an American had never heard of before. Its Clamatto Juice mixed with Vodka, Worchester Sause, Tabassco Sauce and some pepper. My husband likes it hot.:o)

The photo just having some fun, I'm going to send this link to my husband to give him an insentive to come home..ha ha ha :o)

Very original. You forgot the stock of celery and the celery salt on the rim. Well composed and presented. Great detail. Thank you for sharing.

Now add some Canadian Club to the glass Donna and then call me :). I have had something similar many years ago but it was not to my liking. Nicely composed and good colour but I feel the focus is centred on the glass. TFS,
David

That must be HOT!! It's sure to bring your husband home in a hurry!!
Compositionally: Maybe the switches in the BG don't suit - I think a fire roaring in the fireplace, or a plain wall would look better.
Still well done Donna.
I liike my vodka with Diet Coke...
Cheers - hic!
