Taken with a borrowed 5D and a 50mmf/1.8 lens.

This is a highkey portrait of a successful Canadian boxer. I have a lowkey portrait of her that is currently a finalist in a national photo contest and is up for public voting. The URL: http://ponds-wyndham.fotosource.com/contest_winners.html

sharp and good composed
and the colours are very bright

Hi Josh! Beautiful girl. Very dangerous shot. Cheers!

excellent lighting josh :)
very good details and sharpness

Cool shot Josh, great work with the background and excellent sharpness, you made that lens work well for you. Good to see - I have the same lens but I'm still learning how to use it well.

Composition is good - I feel it would be a little stronger if you'd raised the camera to include the top of her hair, thus placing the glove more in a hot-point of the frame?

Nice work

ummmmmmm I like your angle of capturing her. And I think this will make a good b/w as well

Hi dear friend,
in my opinion boxing isn't a sport, but it takes part of our life... About the photo, great DOF and crop, but I would love to see her hair uncuted ;) Otherwise, well done!
Best wishes,
Ioana

Hi Josh

Nice high key portrait. It has a lot of energy and I love the captured pose.
