[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Taken at last springs Tulip Festival in Ottawa, where I now live.

I like how the flower is bathing in the sun, it's gives a nice mood to the picture. I used a f/4.5 stop and focused on the front of the tulip to have a soft blurred effect.

The only PP that I did is a little sharpen and resize for posting.

PC :)

Bonsoir Patrick,
Belle prise de vue de cette tutippe, couleurs ,composition et netteté c'est excellent.
Excellent POV. et détails..
Mes compliments.

Bonjour Patrick,

Nice shot with a marvelous light. Technically image is very good as you mentionned you front focus the flower and the front petals are very sharp. Exposure is perfect. Tight framing brings all attention on the main flower. Angle of view and POV are well chosen to keep most of the BG within shadow giving a nice brillance to the flower. And of course de shallow DOF is ideal for this shot. Simply an excellent work, TFS.
