[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is another experiment in desaturation. I was walking on Rue Universite in Montreal last week, going to lunch, when I started to pass this optometrist's office, but the eyeglasses hanging in front of the store caught my eye and I took a few shots. When I looked at the images after lunch, it wasn't as interesting as I had hoped, but the blue of the sign really stood out from the rest of the image, so I decided to work with that idea.

I selected the eyeglasses, and used the Levels command to brighten and deepen the blue. I then inverted the selection and used the Lens Blur filter to blur everything but the eyeglasses. Then I cropped the image to get rid of an alarm box to the left of the door, then sharpened the image, resized it, saved and uploaded it.

Good catch and good PP work! I like the way you made them float. I may have cropped a bit more of the right to remove some of the window which creates a distracting white area. TFS!
