[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
St Jean Qc is renowned for its Hot Air Balloon Festival.
If the winds permit, the balloons will go up each morning and evening for 15 days. They usually travel over the Richelieu river to eventually land in the surrounding farmlands. This one we gradually watched appear on the opposite shore from where I live.


St Jean Qc est reconnu pour son Festival de Montgolfieres.
Si le vent le permet a tout les matins et soir les ballons levent, navigue au dessus de la Riviere Richelieu pour aller eventuellement atterir dans les terres environnantes.
Celle ci nous l'avons eventuellement vu apparaitre sur la rive opposee en face de chez moi.

a good capture, nice colors, good composition, almost perfect, as the birds are so small, I would recommend to clone the out.

Belle présentation de cette Mongolfière qui est apparue près de chez toi, Excellent cliché incluant quelques oiseaux une forêt et une rivière , excellente prise de vue et jolies couleurs,, Bravo..

Merci pour cette jolie composition, comme un point d'exclamation rouge dans le bleu du ciel. Beau cadrage plaçant le sujet hors centre. Tu avais le point de vue idéal.

Wonderful shatp view of the vivid red air balloon seen gliding above the lovely blue lake.
Love the textures of the riffling silver blue surface of the lake.

Hello Dot,
I am a big ballooning fan. A pilot came so close over the house at dawn on Sunday that he had to do a quick burn, and woke the household up!
This is a great shot of the red balloon providing a nice contrast within the landscape.
The riffles in the water add a nice depth.
