This is the same ravine water(from my other previous post) a couple hundred yards downstream coming out from underneath the other side of the highway.

Anyways a continuation of the series. Literally.

Just trying to find beauty in the dead of winter.

I was angle deep in ice cold water 10-15 minutes here which was interesting, he-he.

Thanks Scott

Scott,

Lovely shot. I think water looks so beautiful when it is blurred by long exposure times like this.

Very nice slow speed shot Scott. Maybe some bright spots on the waters needs to be toned down.

Great choice of shutter speed Scott. I love the water. The green moss contrasting the water is stunning. As always you have used the light to its full advantage. I do hope your feet were protected with high boots. I am glad you took the time and position to take this wonderful shot though. Excellent.
Warm Regards
Wanda

Oooo, this one was lit perfectly. I love the colours and the touch of over-exposure in the water makes the scene a little more surreal...fabulous!

magnificent looking and silky smooth. no matter what. great exposure Scott. everything is balanced.
TFS and more power for another year of posting.

Definately worth getting cold and wet feet for! Beautiful colours and great composition.
Thanks for sharing
Mark

Many thanks for your comment on ‘Who's your Daddy?’

THis is awesome Scott. Very nice. The slow shutter speed and the f22 setting is ideal for this scene. The silky water is the highlight. Greetings, Danilo

Hi Scott...

Wooo.. that's a very nice shot of moving water, I like the slow shutter speed effect, great sharpness and details, for me, I would like to clone out the top two drainage holes, I just dont' think they look that attractive compare to the rest surrounding...:P but that's just me...

Have a great weekend!

Cheers,
Sweety

Hey Scott, nice shot. I still need to get out and get a shot like this. Maybe the next overcast weekend.
TFS Dave

This is a very 'dreamy' scene, Scott! Love the longer exposure contrast between the stream and crisp details of the lush vegetation.
Cheers
Otto

Hi Scott

Nice composition and strong colors, your polarizer served your pretty well to saturate the nice colors before you. I don't mind the drainage holes at all as they give me a sense as to why the waterfall is the way it is.
Some things others didn't seem to mention is that left portion of the falls is over exposed. Amount of over exposure is always a personal taste but for me, this is a tad too much. I always find it difficult to keep water shots like these properly exposed and at the same time maintain good lighting throughout the scened. Knocking off a second of your shutter speed might have kept the water undercontrol but I fear other portions would be too dark. Rock and a hard place I guess.
Finally, there seems to be some sensor dust (black dot) in the water, just to the right of large green rock. Cloning it out in photoshop or another program could eliminate it.
I hope you don't mind my critique. In total, I really like this image these are just a few smalls things I felt I should point out.

Mike
