[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This year, lets just stay home for the winter months.... I mean: how bad can it be? Too cold? Hey, we are CANADA geese, we're tough.... only wusses fly south for the winter!

For the longest time, I could only hear them until some of the fog drifted off. Taken the same time as these previous uploads: Foggy Oldman River and River Valley Fog.

Nice Otto...sort of mystical as your signon eh? A real mood shot for sure....:-) And what has become of C? Is she on a trek?
Bob

Lovely shot. I like the light on the bg.

Well Otto ..
So we are both dealing with the Duckies :-)
This is a fine shot.. why? The waterdamp is clearly visual.. the open space is used by many
and slowly we move to the back of the photo in to the sunlight..
Each step in this shot is fine!

I guess that some beings are still enjoying our winters! They have the possibilities to fly away but they prefer to stay here.Isn't it amazing? Nice picture.I like the composition. We can still see some fog or some water vaps,I do not know. The geese look like enjoying their spa! Nice catch!

What perfect timing Otto. I just love the mist still rising from the water and how perfectly you have captured the geese. It is like they are having a hot spring bath. Great use of the thirds and lovely clarity. Excellent.

A lovely winter image Otto. Nicely composed with good colour, light and detail. I love the differing layers here. Makes me feel quite chilly looking at this :). TFS,
David

A fine gaggle you have there Otto!! Especially the one flapping around! Love the bit of mist rising off the water! Really nice shot!

Hello Otto,
So this is where they stay in winter!
All I know is they pass here in spring and autumn migration, hehehe...
I guess they can thrive anywhere as long as they can find open water to feed from, and the lovely birds are well captured!
Greetings,
Pablo -
