[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
At the back of my sister's property I found this motor scooter, so enmeshed in weeds that I almost didn't see it.
I couldn't resist adding it to the Friday theme.

Tech Talk: Captured in RAW, increased saturation to 100% in RAW, adjusted contrast, converted to jpg, resized, sharpened edges, added frame (in posterized colour of scooter) with leaves copied and pasted from another image taken in the same location, signed in rust colour, and posted

Thanks for looking and have a safe and healthy weekend

Hello Silke.
Well seen and presented. I like choice of vertical composition. Very good frame.

Just lovely, Silke!
Very artistic with the framing but very secretive with the shot!
It looks like crime scene! Is that rust or is it blood? I think you need to investigate further!

Kind regards,
Bev :-)

I like the way nature takes over this old bike. And the way you solved the framing is ingenuous.

Tibi

Hi Silke,

Cordialement,
Antoine.

Hi Silke
I guess there is a second wheel back in the weeds. Like the nice touch of the little leaves on the frame. Nature will reclaim most anything given enough time.

Dan

wonderful detail.. it looks abandoned!! really perfect mood here.. and perfect post for the friday theme!! thank you

Hi Silke,

This looks very attractive - seems like it is abandonned and overgrown, sort of a fairy tale feeling ^-^.
Nice framing.

Poor scooter, makes one wonder why it would be hidden there, forgotten? Not something one misplaces normally. Very mysterious and thought provoking. Fine detail and I love your framing. The polarization makes a great effect and your leaves are wonderful addition. Lovley posting and great for the theme.
Warm Regards
Wanda
PS. Scotland here I come

Many thanks for your comment on ‘Two wheels in shadows’

Hi Silke well seen and perfect captured. Very funny how to see this motor in the bush. Colours are great and so is the frame. Excellent contribution to Smurfies Friday theme :-)
Hans

Great composition. Very great. It´s hard to make two wheels seems a mistery. You did it.

my regards

Hi Silke

Missed this one. The leaves in the borders are a nice artistic flourish. The bike sure looks overgrown, in the vegetation. Tfs!

What a great find for this photo theme, Silke..its like you found a peice of treasure hidden in the undergrowth. Very well presented, I do like your leaves on the side.. well done to you.

Kind regards from down under

Hello Silke,

I actually am having a little lag time at my current temp job, so I'm wandering around the site and looking at friends' photos. When I saw this one I was reminded of similar photos where a vehicle has been abandoned to nature; a very interesting circumstance.

Across the street from one of my friend's homes in SF I looked over the fence of what almost appears to be an abandoned house and saw a car actually encased by the fence AND the over growth of plants and weeds. Who knows why, but it kind of matches the "haunted" quality of the rest of the run down property.

Keep shootin'

Richard
