[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I was snowshoeing (Raquette) when I took this picture in Gatineau Park, Quebec.
It was a relatively warm day by Quebec winter standards (a high of -15C) and this girl was enjoying the sunshine after a tough climb when I saw a skier going by. I knew I had a shot, so I hastily composed my shot and took this picture.

On the left there is a lake and the girl is lying on a road that is converted into a ski trail in the winters. Snowshoes and skis are the only way to get around the park in the winters (anything motorized or bikes are not allowed) There are some very good XC skiing trails in the Gatineau.
Anyways winter is gone and spring is here ... but the memories remain, few good most of them bad ... but I like to think about good ones only .. lols.

Its quite a feeling to go outside on a cold crisp sunny day in the winters ... oh the fresh air ... and would you guys believe that this park is only 20 minutes drive from Ottawa downtown ... ha ha ...

Efforts et relaxation combinés...oui ca donne une tres belle composition,autant dans son equillibre visuel que thématique.

The lines in the snow give this composition rich texture. The slight smile on the girl's face tells us she is enjoying the sun while she takes a break. The colors are rich and vivid. Well seen and presented.....:O)

Hi Sarju,
great shot with that warm light over the snow, and this girl in the foreground just realxing and enhoying life!!
What caught my eye are the lines in the sky road.. is there a kind of machine for doing thhis??

actually my philosophy is helping to the people who were resting :-) and this girl is resting so invitingly,I think she needs help too. this pic is very nicely composed, her smile is frozen on her face in a way. despite it is composed in snow , it looks like a very warm picture for me.well done,

i love this angle you chose. and also the red stands out beautifully against the snow...and the lines and curves in the shot - this one is just pleasant any way i look at it!
