Another PS job using my wife Christan's portrait. The original shot was from last year, I think. Since then, I worked it over in filters to make it look like a painting. I had set it aside for some time now, but recently, dug it up to use as a model for a drawing. The drawing isn't finished yet, but got quite elaborate. What I have done so far can be seen here, and I also used the details for a digital drawing here, and now I used the border of that digital drawing for a frame.
For a date I put down the time I finished this particular PS work, not the original shot taken. Cameras used were Christan's Olympus 710 for the original photo, and my new Canon TX1 for the border.
Hope you like it!

Very Rembrandt-ish, Otto! Christan does look very classic.

The image itself really is very much like a Rembrandt but the frame itself is very "you". Nice work all round and a great note to go with it.

Fine details and warm nice colours, a well composed presentation!

Pablo -

Almost a Mona Lisa look Otto. Lovely PP work and an extremely detailed border. I was wondering how youfind time to do anything after going through the links to teh various sites you display your work on :). TFS,
David

Hi Otto, everything's that's great about her shots is right here. TFS Good lighting and pose. The frame, I thought, was a bit heavy and you know I'm not a big fan of them...;)

Looks like you came through another winter unscathed...;)

Well Otto again you show such amazing talent in your art. (Yes I followed all the links) This image reminds me of a Flemish painter Hans Memling, with the tones and colour. (of course minus the cracks of the oil painting) I do hope that doesn’t offend you. I very much admire your wonderful creative work, you’re very talented and of course having a beautiful model helps.
Warm Regards
Wanda

Hi Otto,
As a 'Michel Angelo' ! Beautiful picture of Christian, great warm colour tones, and a frame as from the LP "The King of Elfland's Daughter". Excellent and very special.
