[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
One of the best known Toronto's landmarks.

It was built in 1965 !!!!! Pretty scary, yeah?
42 years old, still in very good shape, and still amazing. I bet you can build a building like this anywhere in the world and you will still gain significant recognition.

My goal was to show both curved buildings from one uniform perspective, so the person could appreciate the architect's vision.

[excerpt from toronto.com]
The City Hall we see today was the result of a world-wide architectural competition in the sixties. The entry submitted by Viljo Revell of Helsinki, Finland was selected and the building opened on September 13, 1965.

In addition to providing services to local residents, Toronto City Hall is a popular tourist attraction. Located just outside of City Hall is Nathan Phillips Square - a popular entertainment venue offering free concerts, ice skating, and an annual New Year's Eve celebration.
