[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Looking at this Montreal's sculpture that's the first thing that cross my mind. I find it beautiful, but like most art work useless, but far from being without a purpose.
Don't we all feel that sometime, we're not going where we wanted to go.
P.S. My comment are only based on first thought, it could have been something else . Art is there to make you feel, and that feeling may change or ivolve. The creator of this sculpture probably had something else in mind..)))

What an objet d'art you showed here, Denis! It's so lovely. It must be so hard to make. Very nice golden image, good timing of the shot near sundown. Very fine details and focus. Thoughtful note.
Cheers!
Freddie :)

Denis,
great object to shoot. Interesting composition with good color. Great shot.

You're right Denis, looking closely at this confusing arrangement of staircases i find it overly interesting as a piece of art ( great subject to photograph ) but what the sculptor had in mind when he made it has more to do with some state of mind ,a thought ,a feeling that one can interpret in his own way...,your way too i guess .
Nice pov from underneath ,light control is correct as well,
TFS ,
Carol

Hello Denis,

Yes, I often feel that way. I think more people should have noticed this interesting image.

Good luck!

Hello Denis!

An interesting sculpture, open to let your thoughts flow ... as been said earlier, I like the play of warm light in this shot (good choice to take this shot this time of the day), as well as the almost confusing geometrical patterns ... very well done and presented!

Greetings

Guntram

Hi Denis...nice, interesting composition...great shapes and balance.

just like putting up pictures on Treklens.
This reminds me of Piranesi. Great sculpture. Janos

Hi dear friend,
long title, but a good one :)
I like the idea and approach.
Nicely seen and presented.
Best wishes,
Ioana

quel sujet incroyable, superbe, un peu genre Eischer, en très tordu, avec de beaux reflets dorés là où la lumière se pose
amicalement

Personally task that in the moment in which the work that we observe it provokes to emotions and beautiful feelings in our mind it becomes art work.
Observing this your beautiful photography I live again the stimulants visual feelings that the masterpieces of M. C. Escher have always given me.
Perhaps goodness knows, the sculptor of this work has inspired to one graphical composition of Escher, even to the lithography "Relativity" of 1953.

Francesco

Hi Denis

Interesting sculpture making something beautiful and useless out of something functional. It looks like an escher in 3D.

Nicely framed and a good clear, sharp shot of this piece of sculpture

Bonjour Denis
Bravo.
Robert

superb pov and material and it's like a knot-tying rope in overhand or even 8-knot presentation, cheers!

Hi Denis
Terribly curly. The author certainly meant something, he wanted to make something over to us with one's vision. Your commentary appeals to me about this monument.

An excellent POV Denis. Lovely splashes of light on the structure and good shapes and details. I look at modern sculptures and I wonder the same things you did. TFS,
