Hi Silke

I get 10 days off in May, & will be travelling around Korea sans laptop. It's going to be grim for the regulars on TL! But use the break to shoot new stuff, & refresh yourself. You'll be missed by all in the meantime.

Oh... the image. Fantastic macro of the flowers, with perfect sharpness & exposure on the white highlights. Not easy to do. Tfs!

Thanks for the technique tip on the background as I've used a black pillow in prior shots. Off to the craft store for black foam core! The lighting on this flower is just exquisite. I love the effect.

Hello Silke,

A beautiful flower to create a beautiful memory!
The details of the petals are incredibly sharp and textured. I love how the sunlight is playing on the upper parts of the petals to really emphasise their shape.
Wonderful contrast with the b/g. A very classy shot, my friend!
