This is a view of the end of Kitsilano Beach as it meets Haddon Park in Vancouver. Kitsilano Beach is one of the most popular beaches in Vancouver, BC. You can sit around and people watch, or you can join the rest of the adrenaline junkies for a game of beach volleyball. This beach is quite the happening place in the summer time and you will find the beach packed with tourists and locals alike. But at this time, it seems all activities stopped to appreciate the beauty in front of them. As the American naturalist John Muir says:

"Everbody need beauty as well as bread,
places to play in and pray in, where nature may heal
and give strength to body and soul."

hi Andre

I dont remember a beach of this name when I visited Vancouver a few times but then many places remain to be explored there. You have done a good exposure with such a bright sun, while still keeping the balance of photo in good focus.

tfs, bill
