Once again I used some of Isabelle (nephew's girlfriend) body parts for my photos. You can see another part of her here. Yep, finally identified that arm :-).

Caught her laughing at a birthday party and just had time to capture it.

Scream Queen
A scream queen is an actress who has become associated with horror films, either through an appearance in a notable entry in the genre, as a frequent victim, or through constant appearances as the female protagonist. Fay Wray and Jamie Lee Curtis are often cited as the first or most prominent scream queens. Sarah Michelle Gellar is commonly referred to today's scream queen.Mary Elizabeth Winstead, and Scout Taylor-Compton are considered prominent scream queens of modern day.

The use of women in horror films dates back to the silent film era, with films such as The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari (1920) and Nosferatu (1922). George Feltenstein, film historian and senior vice president of theatrical catalog marketing at Warner Home Video, states, "Women screaming in terror has been a Hollywood mainstay — even when films were silent". However, Fay Wray of King Kong (1933) is arguably the first notable scream queen. Wray had also appeared in a number of other horror films previous to King Kong, and eventually took her career to England to escape the title, stating "I don't like it at all...being called Scream Queen." Following Wray, in the 1930s, Elsa Lanchester in Bride of Frankenstein (1935) and Gloria Stuart in The Invisible Man (1933) were also considered scream queens.

I'm not fussed about the theme, but I do like the pp work here - pretty inventive stuff, ideal for a learning site such as this. I could go on about the off-centre composition and other good aspects, but it is your imagination that catches me here - nice work!!

Bonjour Pierre,
Surement un son pour se faire entendre;) ,, jolie composition et effet de PP.. beau travail et détails, le ws. est excellent aussi, Mes compliments

Pierre: The " Scream Queen" looks so strange, kind of scary; hard to believe she was laughing. When I read your note I understood it. You sure are very creative. I, too, enjoy visiting your web site. TFS

Hi Pierre
Good upper bite..
Good thing you said she was laughing
you made her look as if she was drowning and gasping for last breath.
Good PP work and imagination.

Merhaba Myfriend Pierre.....
Excellent job ...enteresting shot..
Selamlar...
Milas...

Pierre,
I like the PP work here too. from the thumbnail I thought Isabelle was gasping for air at the surface of a whirlpool in a swimming pool!
I like the dizzying effect that I get when I look at this shot too long, even if I just look inside her mouth!
I wonder if Sara Michelle Geller is considered a "Scream Queen" because of the movie "The Grudge", it's a movie made by that famous Japanese director.
Anyway, I like this image, finally someone found something to use the ripple tool on!
Great notes.
Cheers,
Scott

And I was looking forward to something done with one of your guitars too Pierre. Excellent PP work, the mouth itself has been well selected and the ripple very effective. Sandy is a Terry Pratchett freak, she is always uttering some of his words. TFS,
David
