This composition has a bit of depth, the eyes don't follow a route, but because of the rhythm the image is a very attractive moody composition.The pps is fantastic giving it a very somber look.
IMHO you could crop some of the dark trees of the right and still have a good shot.Those trees make it look like there is an empty space with stumps.

Magnificent capture! Beautiful light and colours in this shot. A nice use of the long, low, panoramic format. The metering is perfect, the snow is beautifully exposed without any of the shot being too dark as a result.
