[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is my first bird shot, and not an easy one as the parents of these birds set up their nest on a corner ledge, being hidden and protected by the alarm system which kept them safe from the rain, and only had a bit of morning sun.Left side was covered by the roof, and the right by the alarm, so not much left to work with.

The nest was built on may 14
Feedings started may 21
Photo was taken June 5
Nest was emptied on June 7

I set up the camera on 2 occasions. Once when they were 1 week old (small thumbnails), and the last time just before they learned how to fly (the large photo), and both times I was told off by the parents who did not appreciate my presence.

Whta a beautiful baby birds shot...
Nice colours and good details.tfs.
Dr.Seyfettin Güner

A lovely capture of the birdies. Well the parents made sure that their kids will be sheltered from too much intrusion by humans. Very nice series of shots added to show the progress as well. Good detail and nice capture of th eyes of the chicks.

Hi Dot

Beautiful look of the nest of these birds.
I like the shot and of their close!
In the collage they are close to one
high speaker, I imagine of as they got used to
with the noise of the sound.
Congratulations for the look and collage!

Hello Dot, I think that you did an excellent job, if this is your first attempt at photographing birds.
I like the inclusion of the little shots at the side.I am amazed at how quickly they were laid, hatched etc., I wonder if the parents will return to start a new brood.
Tfs, regards Jean.

Hi Dot,
Wonderful close up of these fragil young ones that look so vlunerable as they wait for the worm express.
Your time line show how brief this critical sapn to their lives is.

Hi Dot,

The birds do that don't they - I'm not even allowed to step outside my kitchen door when they were nesting. I could not find the nest so I let it be.
Lovely that you were able to capture the growing up of these robins.

Lovely collage.

Great capture of these lovely babies, Dot. The timing on the them is perfect as they all watch you with suspicion. A very difficult shot to capture and you have done it very well , indeed. A delight to see. Bravo Mon Amie.

Bonjour Dot,

Ils sont tout mignon ces oiseaux. Bravo.
Amicalement,
Olivier

Hi, Dot!

Very kind shot with birdies. Shows in that manner it is not possible to take nature photos only in the nature. :-)

Hehe ... boy those birds will get the fright of their lives if the alarm goes off!! Nicely observed and beautifully compiled into this miniseries of shots. This would make a great postcard!

Hello Dot,
A very nice montage presentation of life in the nest and the scary bit of learning to fly.
Good thing the alarm didn't go off!

Hi Dot,
An interesting series of shots of nesting birds. Fine clarity and neatly done collage. For personal preference, I might opt to put the thumbnails on the left side, as our eyes are trained to start reading from left hand side.

Ramdan
