Sorry folks, this is as close as I could get to this one without getting myself all cut up in the bushes :)

Hi, Karen,
man, y'all have some wide open spaces up there and I can't believe how many of those wonderful old prairie houses are abandoned. Great light and color, crisp detail and nicely composed even hidden by the shrubbery. Very well done! Many thanks and hope all is well,
Shelly

HI Karen
YOu did a very good job as everything is sharp, colorful and the pov is great. This could almost be a shot from our area.
Well done
Dot

It's nice, and it fits the title! I so love these old places, but I get a little afraid to trespass, cuz in Texas, dem cowboys carry guns! LOL! Nice work on this, excellent detail!

dear Karen,
this is a very shy and modest old house.
she looks timid with strangers.
but clever and pretty figure appears over the bushes.
and she views the distant beautiful hill and field.
she may be a poet or an artist.
thank you,
Akihisa

Where's your sense of adventure? lol just kidding. I like this shot as well, how you can see over the brush and the roof to the fields beyond.
Tracy

nice view Karen.....tfs

Dear Karen,
This old house is hidden and nevertheless you found it!
It is beautiful and it seems me that the complete surrounding is very beautiful too.
Great sharpness and very nice colours.
I would assemble another sky.
I did so in WS; I hope you like it.
Thanks for sharing and kind regards,
Adri

Bravo, George

Hello Karen, lovely light really shows up this old broken down house.I like the colours with the bright greens of the grass and the hedge.
What is on the other side of the house? It looks like a river?
Tfs, regards Jean.

Very beautiful Karen.

I like the crop.The perspective.
Well done.

Hi Karen,
So this one is from a different angle .... I like the use of the grass as a foreground because of the texture. The shrubs creates a nice framing to the cottage. Well captured and composed. Well done! tfs

Hi Karen, Good series showing how fresh nature is compared with the efforts of man. Good composition with balance. Greens are refreshing to the eyes. TFS. Murray.
