RBS ?

What does RBS means actually ? For us in Canada , these three letters are not very familiar. The Royal Bank of Scotland is quite active in the Formula One World. Beside displaying there logos at each track , they also support Team Williiams . The Group is also involved in other sports including Equestrian events, Tennis , Goldf, Rugby and more.

You can follow each Grand Prix Race Report also, specially the performance of Team Williams.

Now here, After Timo Glock entered the pits for his unique pit stop, Robert Kubica was leading the race. He however had to push hard to gain some time before stopping himself for his second stop. His team mate was second about 12 seconds behind him. He needed to gain another twelve seconds to give him enough time to keep his lead after his next pit stop.

History prove , he succeeded very well (^_^).

Technically . From my seat looking through the exit of the Senna curve, Robert Kubica's will now follow the St-Lawrence River in the grandstand free area. The Montreal downtown buildings are visible in the background. See the map for the location of the track.

Note behind the car, a photographer on duty. Where from you can take shots like this image number 1206 from this POV.
At the extreme right the cameraman, capturing cool images as they come up the small hill.

Note Montreal is still looking for a major sponsor after 2009 to ensure his continuity. Over the years
the Canadian race on Ile Notre-Dame always presented a lot of action on track ! I hope we will see another thirty years of excellent racing here.

I will be back with exif data!

I got to go now.
Cheers!
Robert

Salut Robert,

Afternoon Robert
Nicely composed with the car in the lower left third. The driver is following the groove with the tire tracks pointing the way. Interesting positions for the "other" photographers.

Hi Robert...I like the way you composed this shot...different and creative...nice work.
