Once again one of my little renters living in my basement. My little buddy, and a great model to practice on.

Karen,
Funny we post children faces almost at the same time.
Good use of light. It is possible to see some movement on her face.
Have a nice weekend,
Wellington

Hi Karen - would love to know more about the exif data and the pp work involved here.

Whatever you've done, i like the final effect. The b/w, the smoothness, the tones and, of course, that wonderful expression make this a delightful shot. Very nice.

merhaba dear karen

best regards.

Too cute, Karen,
I love that impish little expression and those sparkling eyes. Excellent composition with the left eye being centered and the hat is adorable. Very well done in B&W, too. Great job! Many thanks and hoping all is well,
Shelly

Wow Karen, I really like this. I know nothing about taking portraits, but whatever you did to achieve this, the outcome is very good.

dear Karen,
her expression and your capturing meet each other at very nice moment.
this age of the girl includes lots of secrets, but her eyes and mouth cannot hide them...in this lovely hat and in her plump cheek, her joyful imaginations are full, and now these are springing out of there.
thank you for your excellent portrait shot of her,
Akihisa

What a cute photo Karen. And what PP have you used here? She looks very 'smooth'. I love her cheeky look
Janice

the framing is perfect, very nice glance, what a cute model :)
i like the shot even if the eyes are not sharp

Nice cheeky shot here Karen. Well composed with nice light and good b&w gradient.

However ... camera shake. Did you use a tripod? What was the ISO speed? Neat Image and sharpening have helped but they couldn't quite rescue it, and in all honesty if I had taken this shot, I would sob a little and delete it because it's so beautiful, but so-not-quite!

Anyway I enjoy your work always, including this one, and I am keen to see more!

What a face, and well framed, both naturally by the hat and physically by your composition.
Good work and nicely presented.
One thing is that there seems to be some softness or motion shake around the eyes--particularly the photo's right eye; hard to figure just what it is.
Good cute shot though,
TFS,
Wilt
