[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
A slightly more traditional photo of a sunset over the St. Lawrence River. The turbidite rocks in the foreground were exposed along the shoreline for over 300 km. If I lived in the Gaspesie, I would become proficient at photographing rocks, water and sunsets.

Traditional but beautiful and very moody!
The light is beautiful, the dominant purple makes it look a bit like fantasy from another planet.
We happen to be posting almost simultaneously!

Hi karin,
This long explosure makes the sea like silk! Interesting composition from the shoreline towards the falling sun . Peaceful mood! Excellent! Annie

Bonjour Karin,
quelle superbe luminosité dans ces tons roses. J'aime beaucoup le temps de pause avec la mer, et la netteté qui s'accentue sur les rochers.
Bon week-end !

Had it not been for the colors and the reflections this would have been a flop with the heavy heavy repetition of horizontal lines. The colors though make it work.

Hello Karin!

Great to see you in travelling in familiar places. I am looking forward discovering your personal views of the Gaspesian Peninsula , an area Martine and me appreciate so much.

Impressive view using the 2 seconde s exposure, even with the sky so high in the sky.
Well done!
Robert

I don’t think you will have to spend lots of time there to become proficient at rocks, Karin, looks to me like you have done a great job here already. I like the repletion and the far off shore. The shape and textures of the rocks are well shown and I love the colour. Well done.
Warm Regards
Wanda

Hello Karin,
Oh..this what view I'll enjoy in couple weeks there...glad you shown here.
Beautiful soft colors.

Hi Karin,
The rock formation in the foreground is great in details and interesting. The slower shutter speed captured some movement in the waves ... quite a dynamic shot. Well captured and composed with good resulting image and color quality. Well done! tfs

Hi Karin :)

This landscape looks surrealistic, like a dream. Colors are superb, amazing lightning and reflections, I liked texture of the rocks mostly :)

Excellent!
