Today one of my favorite old barns which I have watched slowly collapsing for about 20 years now. A sign that things were much better made 'way back when'.

WOW! Just amazing Karen! Can you please remove all the wood from this and ship it all to me? Oh would I KILL for this stuff! I've got so much stuff I could make with it! Nice work, love the patina on the wood!
B-)

Hi Karen,
Amazing details and really nice vivid colors. I hope Linda would spare some for me... :)

Regards,
Ramdan.

hi, really nice composition and contrast of the green and the old wood, visually seems it would fall apart if someone puts a finger on it, but as you said it stood for all those years so it could keep standing some more years

Dear Karen,
An amazing picture of this old barn!
Very nice colours and sharp details.
How long does he continue stand still .......?
Greetings from Netherland,
Adri

Hello Karen, you seem to be surrounded by derelict barns! They are very photogenic.
This one is well worth a shot;the lovely colours and textures of the old barn contrast with the bright green grass. The diagonal of the fence across the shot adds to the composition.
I am sure that I would be taking shots if this was close to me too!
Tfs, regards Jean.

dear Karen,
this barn looks just breaking down...it is risky to enter or go up it.
anyway, the brown of wood and the green of grass make vivid contrast in this image, and this tilt and broken figure of it makes me feel the flow of the time. it may be long or short, I don't know, but the force of nature actually has been pushing the time and this barn. this is on the process now.
thank you,
Akihisa

Hello Karen
Interesting heritage barn with a shingle roof and horizontal boards while they used to be vertical. The colors are very nice particularly the greens. I love the line traced by the wooden fence. How long is that barn going to resist graviity?

Nicely done

hi Karen

Very interesting leaning tower of 'Pisa' at your backyard, the barn color texture really makes a strong contrast to the green grass and fence. Just waiting for the day - so standby your camera. Well composed view.

tfs, bill

Hi Karen,
What a gem, I love these old weather beaten buildings, particularly those of North American design.
Needs a touch of TLC I would say.
I like your POV, the fence doesn't look too flash either.
Beautiful colour and textures, TFS.
Pete.
