Awe....what a dottie :-) The soft focus works fine here Dot! Maybe a tad too bright (I can see some OE spots). Anyway it's an addoring picture and a fine contribution to the theme.

Sooo cute. Fading out the background is a great idea - the focus really is on the kitten. It also gives the whole photo an orangey hue that matches the kitten.

Hi Dot,
An interesting contribution for the theme. The vignetting effect was not just to exclude distraction but also to give a very nice softening effect that worked very well with a small, fragile subject, the kitten. Very nice presentation indeed.

Oh, Dot, this is a wonderful!
It is so well composed, using the hand as the stage for the kitten! The details of the kitten's face are sharp, whilst the vignetting focusses attention on the face and the hand and yet also gives it quite an ethereal quality!
I like this very much.
I am going to add it to my favourites!

Ohhhhhhhh, I had so hoped to have one this color. The father of my kittens is a huge orange tomcat that visits here sometimes, so I wanted a like colored kitten. Two of mine have orange in their fur though, so that's good.
Beautiful capture here, I love the hand at the blurring.
