Good Day ,

Just a little image taken earlier this week, on a day off at the occasion of our national Holdiday. We took the opportunity of a sunny day to have a picnic in our county. We actually took the Discovery road ( or La route des Découvertes ).

I am just taking this opportunity to say Au Revoir as Martine and me will be travelling in the next few days. No vacation for us last winter . First time after seven years. well , let me tell you , we missed deeply that.

But now it it time to look forward and relax . once again, we are leaving behind our computers , our TV sets (^_^), work , ships, numbers, accounts , and think only of enjoying the road, and the excitement of meeting again our friends , and possibly making new ones.

We take the road differently . We won't be travelling only from point A to Point B, but will be stopping whenever we feel like it, enjoying nature , and discovering small remote roads and places. How often have we passed on the same roads without stopping . When you actually do, you realize how perspectives are different the minute you jump out of your car, for a quick walk even just a few meters away.

We will travel again approximately 2500 km in 6 days.
Yes we will take again the road to happiness (^_^), i.e. road 132 to Gaspesia. We will be back on July 3rd, So I might be in a position to meet fellow members visiting Montreal soon.

Technically . Well the composition is just to illustrate my point. From our cars , while driving , we see an endless ribbon of asphalt and ''fence'' of electric posts.

Well from a lower POV - offroad , you see and endless carpet of flowers..... The view is much more appealing and colorful.

We will have a great time exploring together familiar grounds, with wide open eyes.

Take care everybody !
Martine & Robert

Hi Robert
Indeed all those flowers around signal the time for an escape out there and a good time. Lovely capture of the daisies in good POV and sharp details

I love the combination, the summer flowers and the open road! So very tempting.
Now I do wish I could join you in Montreal, but the news from my doctor was not good. I have to wait another month or so before I can make such a trek. Hope to see you then

Bonjour Robert
N'importe quelle route bordée de ces jolies marguerites aurait un petit air de route des vacances. La lumière et les couleurs naturelles sont magnifiques. bien vu!
Amicalement

Good morning Robert!
This is definitely a more fresh and inviting sight than the gray and dull asphalt road! The daisies look charming in the morning light, which gives a promising start for a vacation day.
Best regards,
Diana
