Good morning Karen,
Another great barn picture you have here. The composition is very good and the detail in the wood on the barn is nice. The wood appears to be wet and weathered a bit. Probably a good thing it was cloudy for this shot or you may have had some glare off the metal roof. Nice work as always Karen.
Regards,
Kevin

Emotional scenery,Character of the old barn house still attract in your shot, well arragement of element and foreground space in this scene.Good work,TFS.

Hi Karen,

Good concept.
The cloudy moods are seen well.

dear Karen,
this old house also looks like a face of old man. and he opens his mouth, he may be eating or yawning, like "Thomas The Tank Engine". he is surely running in this green field.
I like cloudy day, all shows us another faces different from those in fine day, both are true. in this your shot, this old barn cannot hide his running figure of steam locomotive. the cloud and his puffed smoke look one.
thank you,
Akihisa

It might be an old barn, but it looks like it is still in use Karen - it has a nice new roof too.
I would have cropped off some of the excess space above the path, and even more from the left (IMO) - then we could see more of the barn.
Still, it is interesting to see more of your series of old buildings. You are building up a good selection
Cheers
Janice

Cloudy and miserable it may have been, but the freshness of the green gives a fine glow to the image

Hi Karen,
Actually miserable days are good to get out and take photos ... it is a good excuse to get fresh air :) Good capture here using the grass to create nice texture leading to the barn. Old weathered barns are also ideal for B&W as it will bring out details more. Well composed and presented! tfs

Renier

Nice picture.

Karen Hi:
I really like your old building series. You live in a very beautiful part of the world and present it to us very professionally. I really like the colors and the sky, I think, give the composition a very special mood effect.
Very Well Done

Hi Karen
First off, every time I open your gallery I have to smile at the picture of "you" posted to welcome us.
Well composed and rich FG color - barn is suffering from lack of sun.

I tried (in a WS) to create separation between the leaden sky and the roof as well as punch some life into the sky.

And thanks again for the recent visit, you comments are always appreciated.

Dan
