I spent one July 4 in the US a few years ago...WOW! Do those people know how to celebrate!! So I'm thinking of my friends there tonight, which got me to thinking how some of them may be feeling in the morning....WHICH reminded me of this little minature donkey. I thought he looked as though he'd had one to many the night before.

Hello Karen! Nice scene. Very nice lightness. Wonderful pet. Good shot. Well done!

Oh yes, those Americans love to party...especially in Texas! This poor donkey looks like he's had a few too many! Wish you had gotten ALL of him in the shot! B-)

Hi Karen

Good shadow detail & lighting contrasts / graphism. The minature donkey looks cute. Hope the Americans have some good hangover cures for July 4. Tfs!

Hah!! Must admit, I know that feeling and, maybe just maybe, even that tree. ;0)
Great idea and nice presentation.
The foreground is very well handled against the considerable back-lighting.
Good work and funny too.

Hello Karen,
Congratulation to the USA people celebrating their independence day on July 4th..
This is very nice capture and dedication..Congrat 's..

CM

:)))) I celebrated the 4th by going to Canada, so I wouldn't know what the other Americans did, but your shot explains really well your point! :)

Hi Karen,
....now? How was the party? Still a headache? Anyway what a nice idea to post a donkey when celebrating the birtday of the USA, could also have been a portrait of your Mr. President, what see the difference? ;-)
Well I like this addoring portrait!
Hans

Do I have to be afraid of the CIA, FIA or USAF?
