Good morning Dot,
This is the first round barn I've seen. It makes for a very interesting subject. The detail in this unique barn is very good. I like the composition, and the driveway leading me through this farm scene. Nice work Dot.

Remember having found one round barn like this while exploring the Eastern townships region a few years back or perhaps this is the one but i can't say for sure , i have not recorded it on lens but thank you for sharing yours with us here as it 's kind of unique ( wonder if there are more of these around in Quebec anymore? )

Seems more like a mongolian tent then the familiar barn - very nice composition, hope it really helps make life easier for the farmer.

Bonjour Dot,
Voilà une image bien charmante et typique de notre Québec rural!
Bien composée aussi avec le chemin de gravelle menant aux habitations! Les granges rondes comme celle sur ta photo sont réellement un élément de notre patrimoine bâti. Il est reste peu en état et certaines sont même classées monuments historiques.

Hello Dot. This barn's roof is really unique. You have captured really well with the fallen leaves on the green grass making good contrast. Well balanced image with my favorite tractor tucked neatly in the frame. Thanks for sharing and best regards. Jusni

That's quite interesting - the barn on top of the hill. Perhaps the barn is round to match the shape of the hill?

Un autre endroit dans mon coin . Belle prise de ce bâtiment rare . Il n'en reste plus beaucoup mais tu as su en trouver et bien la photographier pour nous la montrer . La légende veux que ces granges soient bâties rondes pour éviter que le diable ne se cache dans un coin pour y mettre le feu .
