Hello Randy,
When I lived around Calgary I remember seeing fields of canola like this.
This image is so vibrant against the sky and the horizon of evergreens. Good POV.

Yes, you did well with the title, you've captured July colors very well. Everything is great about this photo, but what I like the most is the lower right corner... cos it seem to me like the red flowers are fighting their way into to this scene (it's just a subjective impression).Well done!
