From our TL Meet in Montreal:
CTV Montreal News Report (5 days after we took this picture):
Sedna IV docks
A unique ship has dropped anchor at the old port.
In 2006, the sailing vessel Sedna IV completed a 430-day expedition to Antartica.
The crew's goal: to measure the effects of climate change.
The 51-metre ship will be docked at the old port until August 31.
People are invited on board to visit the bridge and listen to accounts of the crew's voyages.
tech stuff: slight rotation to straighten, crop and curves, downsized. |

Hello Otto,
I notice the fine old ship in front!
So they will be going down South soon, sounds like some adventure...
Sharp fine details, the three persons dockside is a nice inclusion!
Greetings,
Pablo -
The human element shows the size of the vessel well Otto. Nicely composed with good colour and detail. If the money was available I could do a tour of the Antarctic from our state capital of Hobart, a mere 5000km South to the icy continent.
