Caught John resting against a railing in the Old Montreal Harbor. We did a lot of footwork that day, and I must say, he keeps up pretty good. A very personable and chatty guy, he does stop to talk to people everywhere, so many times we had to wait for him to catch up, lol .....
It was a load of fun meeting you, John!
Cheers
Otto

Truly the MOST photographed man on TL...without argument! Nice natural shot, looks like you guys had an excellent gorgeous day for shooting! NOw to the pic, quite a bit of OE. I took it into WS and played around with it. Check it out!

Hi Otto, lovely picture of John here with the pier in the background, I like the diagonal pattern of the piers and the nice clouds pattern. Very well done! Great control on light even on John's T-shirt!

It was an immense pleasure for me and Ben to meet you and Christan. I hope we do it again :)

Cheers! Yan

Oh yes that is John allright, there comes a point that you have to drag him away - he really is chatting with everyone that catches his eye ^-^ and most certainly lovely ladies.

Hi Otto,

Lovely composition with this well known figure in the FG.

I think LInda needs new specs or monitor Otto, there is somewhite in the clouds but not what could be called OE. John positioned nicely in the frame and a good backdrop,
David

Hello Otto,

So that's where he is, haven't seen much of him lately!
Well, I guess being a celebrity makes it difficult to hide away wherever you are...
A fine documentary with a good summery feeling!

Greetings,
Pablo -

Hi Otto,

Lovely shot! You captured our friend john in a relaxed stance with a beautiful BG scene! The vivid colors, clarity and very good lighting are excellent!

I know this guy!! Isn't that old Johnty the Dutchman?
Otto, it looks like you've worn him out.
Good to see you John
Janice

Hi Otto,
Very nice portrait of Father John. Great compo and lights are OK, too. Nice natural colors.
I have to say I agree with David (Refugee), that Linda needs a new monitor or at least a calibration check. I have eyes for OE, because I don't like it at all. :) But on this pic I didn't realize any OE, only naturally white clouds. By my opinion the orig. shot is better than the WS here.
Tfs this. John, it's good to see You, MF.
Best wishes, have a nice day, László from Hungary
